Confirmed with Telus this is a scam and it not telus, they will offer you 50% off your bill claiming its a promotion, do not answer yes do not give any information
Ok guys so this guy here who says his name is XXXX XXXXX and says he is calling from the Telus sales department, and that he has a promotional deal where first Telus will pay of all of your other agreement plans, then he says that he will be giving new Samsung s20 ultra for $0 with $45 dollar plan. So this guy is a legit scam first of all telus doesn't have a plan where they will give you $2,000 dollar phone on $45 dollor plan, don't fall for this guy.
Will harass you if they don't get what they want. They got away with my drivers licence number. They keep calling and trying to blackmail me for my credit card.
Recieved same call. Confirmed with Telus that this is NOt a legit promotion. Telus does not take credit card info over the phone, they use a secure system. Do not fall for it.
