Took the person 4 seconds to talk. I asked to identify. Identified as a company related to TD credit card for an optional service, not urgent... Then hung up on me.
She called me saying they provide identity theft protection. Asked for my email and birthday. And insisted on saying “Yes” to authorize the credit check. I hung up.

Lady pretends to be from TD credit card, she asks to speak to me by name, I asked what the call was about without saying if it was me or not, she stated are you (insert name here), again I said what is this call about, she said she is from TD bank and wishes to speak to..., I asked again what is this call about, again she repeats she is from TD, I told her I will not talk to her as she is not answering me and I hung up. My phone even labeled the number as spam, so I called the real TD who trans

Scam. Claim to be TD and trying to sell a credit card protection with 30 days free and claim that they will send you your credit report to your email free of charge.
What is scaring me is that they had my full name and mailing address. When they asked me for the email address I refused and stopped the call.
Tries to push a service they claim is by TD and when you kindly reject it they keep trying to sell it to you and do not take no for an answer. Obvious scam. White middle aged woman voice.
This really freaked me out, the lady had the right name and was talking about draud protection, I entertained her but as I was unaware that it might be a scam. Now I am a bit worried that my answers may be used for fraudulent actions. But please don't answer their numbers.
I answerd and I heard a voice of a women at first and asked for me, the sound wasn't very good so once I said "hello" again, then the voice changed to a man's voice, sounded like a voice from one of those programms where you can change your voice making it look professional. He/she told me they were calling me from TD and asked me if I already received the free credit repport, I said " I'm sorry but I am busy at work and her/his answer was "it is ok it'll take two minutes and it is free", and t
Call "from TD" and offered to send me free credit reports from both bureaus and mentioned some subscription services. Asked for the correct spelling of my name to send me a welcome email. When I said I felt like it wasn't legit, the man on the phone said "keep in mind that it's free" which felt like an odd response to me. Long delays between responses in general.
Faites attention!!!
Amy Martin at Fantel. I received a missed call from this #, no voice-mail. I called it back and this person answered and immediately wanted to confirm my name/last name. Said I wasn't comfortable proceeding without calling the # on the card, and she adopted a XXXXXX tone as if I were being a nuisance caller. I had to cut her off and ask why Fantel was calling only to find out that they were trying to sell a service. This is not a scam, just a really unprofessional set of telemarketers.
Originally received calls from 514 645 XXXX, but after blocking that number they started up with this one. It's seems to be from some call centre pretending to be TD, they also knew my first name (most likely because of hearing my answering machine so much).
Definitely not worth your time, BUT I started answering the call and playing the theme song from Donkey Kong Country. I did that 3 times and they have not called since for almost a week. Not saying it'll work for you, but it'll at least w
Very good scam number that is trying to sell TD protection package for your credit score and they try to make you think you need it. Stay away from this number
