Was weird as on my phone screen came up as suspected spam. Claimed to be from EE wanting to save me money and all that. I said could be a scam as it says so on my phone. Then said he will send me a text to confirm it was them. Although I was very unprofessional and although it did say 'EE' as the sender at the top of the message I refused to go further with the call
Received a silent call earlier in the day. Called later, Claimed to be from EE. Asked for my personal details which i refused unless he could prove his identity. Asked for the amount of my last bill which he could not provide. Sent a text proclaiming to be from EE but it could easily be spoofed, And the message itself is very unprofessionally worded. Very very sus.
Called today but I did not answer as I didn't recognise the number and do not I know anyone living in that area of the UK. If it was important or legit then surely they would leave me a message. Now blocked..
Called regarding my account, Said they had great deals available. Perfectly friendly, Sounds legitimate but it isn't
Do not tell them what phone model you have, That's a security question that EE would ask if you don't have a password on your account.
I called up EE through the app straight after the call and they've advised it's not a legitimate call. I've given them the number and they've added extra security to my account.
This is actually an approved EE partner so not a scam. You can speak EE if you'd rather not be contacted by them but they are genuine.

Tried to tell my SIM card was expired and I needed to renew my contract. I said I was at work and would just pop into the EE store. They said I wouldn’t get those deals in store. So I said fine I’ll go with a different company and hung up.
Been with EE for 7 years and never had “EE” call me before to upgrade. Same as everyone is saying, Nice guy on the phone, Pushy to go ahead without even agreeing. “Deal” wouldn’t be available if I was to call back.. Very strange.
Claimed to be from EE, With offers for me, Wanted password. I declined. Tried to push saying there was an upgrade offer but I upgraded my phone in the last 3 months so it sounded fishy
Claimed to be EE offering free stuff, But I had to confirm my personal details before he could continue. Said I wasn't giving details out to an unsolicited call, And he said he could send me a text message to prove it was EE (which could easily be spoofed to look like an official text). I said I would call back on an official EE number from my bill - he said 'you'll have to ring back on this number', Which is clearly rubbish. Clearly a scam.
Real EE sales person called me from this number offering a great deal on an upgrade received confirmation texts from my usual EE text conversation after and my new phone already arrived they didn't ask anything that they shouldnt and had enough information to proove it was them such as billing address and dates
Claimed to be from EE offering fantastic offers but before they could reveal them, They wanted my full name and details regards my EE account that EE would know. Seemed like a phishing scam to me so declined to answer. After hanging up checked my EE account online and no new offers listed.
Potential scam. Could have also been marketing. Told me I was missing out on bonuses with EE then requested the first and last letter of my security password. When I told them I couldn't remember and needed time to check (I was searching their number up online), They hung up, After about 30 seconds of silence.
