I have never even owned the make and year of the vehicle they mention. Beware the yellow postcard. Yellow is after all a cautionary color. I did not call.
Same like the previous comment, received a yellow postcard notifying my to call 800-939-XXXX or they will drop vehicle protection.....
and continues stating "if I neglect to active protection is will be responsible for paying all repairs out of pocket"
I knew it was a scam because I don't neglect my business vehicles.
Recieved a post card from motor vehicle service notification to remind me that my vehicle is in need of vehicle protection. They don't disclose company name or address. They are not from my dealership or from the dept. Of motor vehicles. They used to call me now they are sending postcards. Beware of these fraudsters
I received a postcard (Vehicle Alert Notice: red color big letter) threatening me, if I don’t call this number 800-939-7110 within 5 days, they will drop vehicle protection, they pretend like they are central lexus center. Now it is not the robocall, they are using alert postcard to call this number. New way to call the scam number. Post card looks like real warning alert with big red letters. No return address printed, only ask to call this number within 5 days. New scam method using postcard.
Claimed they are with the Motor Vehicle Insurance. I asked them would DMV know who they are? They hung up on me so I called back several times and called them losers and fraudsters.
I called to tell them to get me off their list. They wouldn't give me their address and the actual name of the company. Sketchy. I told the guy I was going to report them to the Attorney General for scamming/fraud and this is how this smug a-hole replied "Are you a psychic?" "No." "Then how would you know that?" LOL. "The way you replied gives me everything I need to know about this sketchy business. Just take me off your list." He then put me on an indefinite hold. Am I off the list? Who knows.
Sender won't identify themselves on the postcard they sent. They want you to pay them for vehicle repairs instead of your local dealer. Appears to be a scam.
