A female woman named XXXXXXX left a message stating that she was from the Federal Student Loan Assistance and that I only had about 90 days before I faced possible wage garnishments and tax offsets. I need to call the number above to possibly qualify for loan forgiveness or a income base repayment plan. Only thing is it did not match the number have for the actual federal government student loan Assistance. BEWARE SCAM

I received the same call on 10/20/20 as the 10/15/20 caller did: A woman named Amanda left a message stating that she was from the Federal Student Loan Assistance and that I only had 90 days before I faced possible wage garnishments and tax offsets. And I need to call the number above to possibly qualify for loan forgiveness or a income base repayment plan. The 817-345-0891 nor the #she called from 442-350-XXXX matched the list of loan service numbers on the Federal Student Loan website for gove

They say they're from he Federal Student Loan Assistance Center and want to help you enroll in income-based repayment before you get wage garnishments or tax offsets. Nice try. I'm already enrolled in PSLF.

I missed a call, called back. The lady said "hello, how can I help you". I said that I just missed the call from this number. She said "oh well if you missed a call from this office, they were calling to tell you about student loan forgiveness programs." I said oh okay, I already have a repayment program active. She immediately hung up. I called back because it was kind of funny to see a telescam be so obvious and shameless. The next Lady answered the phone and said "hello this is student loan f

This number is a scam. I know the name and number of the individual who will contact me about my student loans, and it is not this person and she never stated who she is working on behalf of. My student loans are being handled by an outside company and NOT the Department of Education. The Department of Education has transferred my account to a third party because it was put in collections, so this person calling is a SCAM!
