Everything said in previous comments are true. they call . leave a message stating they were hired and contracted to serve you with legal documents to appear in court. I'm like right, and if someone wants to serve me let them work for it!! I'm happy to learn it was a scam.
Blocked number, leaves messages claiming to be a process server, states that your legal documents were returned to them as undeliverable. Caller leaves the number 888-489-XXXX, adds a case number to reference when you call back. I don’t know how, but these pieces of human filth also had my parent’s cell numbers (both of them) and left them both messages asking to have me contact them. I got the exact call but it was a woman and she demanded my ss# and I would not give it she was furious then I told her I was calling my local court house to see if I was on the docate and she told me they couldn’t help me only they could tell me the info I said well if I’m suppose to be in court I think the courthouse would certainly know and hung up
Just got a similar message left on my voicemail. However, they said they attempted to send me legal documents which came back to them returned undeliverable. I have lived in the same home for over 20 years.
Man called for a relative and claimed to be from "XXXX XXXX XXXX - Process servers"
He said we had an upcoming court date and the matter was urgent.
He gave fictitious case numbers and couldn't answer whether Dayton was a city or a County.
We verified through the county and city website that we had no cases and we called "Arthur Morgan" back.
When we called him back to question him about this information he hung up on us and then blocked our phone number. This XXXX XXXX is a scam
