Say that I owe a debt and when I said I will call the company that has filed the collection against me Brian Green said that the company can't give out that info.

Total scam. Pretended they have a debt of mine from Barclays and I know they are not the holder of the debt.

I got a call stating same thing that I had a capital one card that was in collections. Absolutely not true and she was trying to verify my info and I refused everything. She was agitated and hung up.

This number is associated with a 931-223-XXXX number. When you ask them to provide with you with information concerning the debt they do not supply it. One way to know that this is not an actual debt collector is they do not let you speak or ask questions. If you have a debt you should be able to contact the creditor. These are THE WORST scam/invalid debt collectors on earth. Not only will they threaten you with invalid lawsuits they will refuse to provide information on anything related to the "debt" they are trying to collect on. I recognized this as a scam as i have never opened an account with Home Depot or citi bank. Very scary that they even knew my family members names. Ive called them back a hundred times to harrass them back but funny how they wont answer the phone once you call them out! Nice try but i know better

The are zombie debt collectors. They buy very old accounts (mine was well beyond the statute of limitations by nearly a decade) and lie about their ability to collect. They also won't give their address for me to send them a registered letter to make them stop harassing me.

This company has been calling to "collect a debt." When you ask for the company name they tell you Mediation United Recovery Services, They used to say United Mediation Services. I spoke to United Mediation Services in Plano TX and they tell me that this company routinely has represented themselves as UMS and has nothing to do with UMS. My mom asked for verification of the debt but the lady refused to provide any info and threatened to turn her over to the county. Called me out of the blue saying that I owe on a loan for $4400 from 12 years ago. They won’t send me information about said loan until I make a payment. I’m not going to give out my banking info with out the info. Real funny thing is that it couldn’t have been me to take the loan out as I was in jail at the time lol. So that back fired.

I was using my moms phone to make a call and received a call from this number. They asked for my mom and I said to give me a moment, My mom saw the number and suspected it was a scam and told me "do not answer", The woman then gave attitude and said "why are you telling me to wait and then she is saying to not answer". My mom told her she can't talk like that to anyone and the woman responded "okay I will call you later then." Blocked that number right away.

Said they were collecting on a 10 year old credit card debt and we had 48 hours to pay or we would be sued.

Called stating that my wife took out a MasterCard acct 10 yrs ago and that it has an outstanding balance of $1, 300 but they would settle for $800, Talked very fast and very unprofessional, Even chatting with me who was not an authorized on the card, And we have never had such card nor has it ever showed up in our credit reports ever let alone we recently purchased a new home ac month ago and this was no where to be found- scam as just want money.
